Lose the juice if you want to lose weight.

"Calorie for calorie, fruit juice is worse for you than fizzy drink ... when you turn fruit into juice, you are losing the insoluble fibre, which is an essential nutrient and helps delay absorption of the sugar. Take the fibre away and you're just drinking sugar and calories." - Dr. Robert Lustig
Dear colleague,
When we went downstairs to get sandwiches at lunch today, I think you gave me a judgmental stare when I bought a soda rather than a juice (your choice). I just wanted to let you know that your juice is more fattening, and is probably working hard to erode your enamel as you read this email.
THREE JEERS FOR JUICE!
1. Pulp fiction - you're better off having a fruit.
2. Fructose gives you a false sense of hunger, causing you to eat more.
3. Decays your teeth.
Don't even get me started on your salad...
Mel.
